As the founder of ADOLLARONE.com, Venturino is the true driving force behind this novel marketing concept and groundbreaking venture. Early on, while growing up in Sicily, Italy, Venturino was blessed with an amazingly inquisitive mind, constantly seeking out information to improve living situations and positively affect people’s lives. His ideas were grand, his goals considerable. After successfully finishing his studies at the IPSSAR, including a teaching diploma, Rino (as the ADOLLARONE.com team likes to call him) made his way to England where he immersed himself with all his might and abundant energy into the Hospitality industry, steadily working his way up the ranks in not only the Food but the Restaurant and finally the Hotel management business as well. Following some highly successful endeavors in the Real Estate business as the CEO of Jotto Global Int. Ltd., Rino arrived in Los Angeles in February 2008 and immediately set out to realize his biggest goal – apply his considerable energy and creativity to conceptualize and develop a revolutionary idea that would directly affect the way local businesses and local consumers are brought together. Rino’s vision and tenacity in realizing it, has led, a mere 10 months later, to the Los Angeles launch of a one-of-a-kind website - ADOLLARONE.com where local businesses offer their products/services for just $1.01 or for auction. And if you’d ask Venturino, this is truly, only the beginning!
Nadine Curias, Ph.D, Managing Director
Born in Brussels, Belgium, Nadine followed her destiny at a young age and after graduating from the KU-Leuven university in Belgium, made her way to the US via the Masters program at the UW-Madison. She then moved a little south and received her Ph.D in Marketing/Advertising from the U of I at Urbana-Champaign. While researching her dissertation on Social Status and Consumption, Nadine ventured into the belly of the beast and started her account management career at JMCT in Manhattan. Nadine’s battle cry, “know what you want, then go get it”, prompted her to leave NY and became an integral part of establishing a new West Coast agency. She later joined forces with Grey/LA where she ran multiple multi-million dollar advertising businesses. She strategized, planned and developed for mega-brands at Fortune 100 companies, i.e. M&M/Mars, Nestle, Quaker and Unilever in both New York and Los Angeles. When New York came calling again, Nadine signed up to become the VP, Global Brand Director. Although not in 84 days, but around the world she went, twice. Having accumulated a tremendous amount of global and national branding and advertising experience, Nadine ventured out on her own in 2002 successfully helping clients build, grow or revitalize their brands. When the founder of ADOLLARONE.com came calling, Nadine immediately recognized its true potential and signed on to become the company’s managing director. Without a doubt, it’s been a thrilling journey so far!
